Leopard~

Pitt students get OS X Leopard for free.

GUESS WHAT I’M DOING TOMORROW?

Video games in the lounge

I invaded my floor’s lounge today in order to play video games. Three girls had been living in it before, but they moved out and the lounge is open to everyone on the floor.

No one was using it, so why not?

I played for about five hours before I had to quit because my head began to hurt. This saddens me. I used to be able to go for twelve hours without feeling even a tinge in my head. I’m aware that it’s not something to be proud of, but I miss being able to marathon a game.

Oh, well. It’s pretty on the weekends; I’ll have to practice.

Personality and Multiple Intelligence

I love these things, especially the personality test. I think everyone should figure out what their Myers-Briggs type is, since it’s often pretty accurate. Once in a while, depending on your mood and how you answer the question, you can get a pretty weird answer. Take it a bunch of times, however, and you’ll more than likely notice one that crops up often and is pretty similiar to how you think and act.

As for me, I’ve always gotten INFP, and I’ve taken around thirty of these tests. Guess that says something.

Maaaaac~

I have a Mac!

Calendar is up

I have embedded my Google Calendar out of a fit of sheer boredom that led to a fit of organization. If you click the link on the sidebar, you’ll be able to see how I spend my days! Admittedly, it’s quite dull.

Hopefully, this will encourage me to use my calendar more as well as encourage me to do more things so that I can actually put stuff on it.

…I get the feeling it’s going to be quite busy in July.

I enjoy the limelight too much

I’m updating from school! Oh, I’m such a rebel. ♥

There were visitors from Europe in my computer/tech class, looking for examples of technology used in the classroom. A PowerPoint presentation was whipped up and I got to present the part about the Java and, of course, Web Design classes.

I like presenting waaaaay too much. I love attention, what can I say. Not necessarily negative attention, but talking, presenting, acting as if I know what I’m doing… Yeah, I love doing that, despite the anxiety attacs I usually develop right before. Oddly enough, I’m fine once I start doing something. This is the same with singing and acting. I panic, but as soon I’m on stage, I’m fine.

…I want to present something again. I like bragging too much. u_u;

Literary Rally~

I just came back from having lunch with my mother and, before that, literary rally.

I went for Computer Science, and managed to place first overall. Yay. It was tough, though, mainly because I’m taking Java and there was nothing but C++ on the test. Thank goodness for Andrew, who said there would be a lot of it on there, or else I’d have missed at least fifteen questions.

I stuck around for the scores, and Barbe did very well, overall. We had several first places in our division (Spanish II– Go, Mel!–, Bio II, uh, some others that I already forgot…) and got several first overalls as well.

Now I have to get started on studying for state. Woo.

And for something completely unrelated, the original forums for the CW Club died because free hosts suck. I have to reinstall on my domain, which isn’t hard, but the few posts that we had are all gone now.

Painkillers = Bad

Note to self: Don’t take painkillers unless you absolutely have to. You act like a moron when you’re on them.

Thankfully, I only took two before the pain managed to become tolerable. Yay for a semi-high pain tolerance, I suppose. (Although, not high enough if I have to bite myself in order to keep from whimpering from the toe shots. Ugh. That is the most unpleasant feeling I’ve had the misfortune to feel.)

I still can’t wear closed toe shoes and socks, though. At least, not on my right foot. My left foot is fine, the bastard. It can’t even hurt a little bit to make me feel balanced.

On a slightly…less interesting note, I am getting spam on my blog! While this would annoy some people, I feel oddly accomplished as this is a sign that I’m actually showing up on search engines. I hesitate to think what keywords my blog shows up on, but at least it’s showing up, right?

Funny thing about Mardi Gras. I live on Lake Street, right by the mall. Around seven in the evening, loud music began to play and people began screaming. My first thought? “Oh, my God. Why are there drunk people screaming outside my window? Is there a mob? Are they throwing chairs and kidnapping babies yet?”

Being the genius that I am, I completely forgot it was Mardi Gras, despite the fact that Morgan had called me earlier and reminded me of it. Good job, memory. You fail yet again.

And I’m all out of white grape blueberry kiwi juice. Darn. At least I have new information pertaining to Fire Emblem: Goddess of the Dawn to hang on to. Mmm, release day spoilers. Only about half a year until it’s released in English!

I am an easily excited geek

The more I use it, the more I love it. I love being able to finally host other people’s sites and being to host my own. I can’t ever imagine going without it now. Geek? Oh, yes.

It’s odd, realizing that I’ve derived glee from setting up a subdomain for Meaghann’s (I am honest when I say I have no idea how to spell people’s names) webcomic and whatever else she wishes to have. I think it has something to do with the fact that I’ve been wanting to be able to do this for over three years.

I still remember creating the word laronmi in seventh grade. It was a mix of my favorite letters and sounds; I used it a screenname for AIM. Eventually, it grew to become my web alias as well, and now… Now, it’s also my domain.

I’m not going to be able to stop talking about this for a while.
