Obama

I just saw Barack Obama. He came to Pitt for a speech (that I didn’t attend because I was too lazy to pick up tickets), and the building he was giving the speech in is right next to the building where my Chinese classes are held. So, after class, when I saw all the people lined up on the streets, I thought, “Why not?”

I ended up waiting for forty something minutes in the cold before I saw him, but it was okay. I got a towel, too. (Apparently it’s a Pittsburgh thing…?)

He was surrounded by reporters, and I was standing on a hill, so I didn’t get a full view of him. He smiled and waved, talked to the reporters a bit, waved his towel (Which prompted everyone else to wave their towels as well), and then was ushered into the bus.

Afterward, as I was walking back, people were calling their uncles and family just to say that they saw Barack Obama. Of course, I’m blogging this, so I’m not any better.

. . .

Dude, I saw Obama! =D
